JavaScript Keywords

Keywords are the certain reserved words that have predefined meaning.

These words cannot be used as identifiers in JavaScript program.

There are also certain other reserve words that are not used in JavaScript but are reserved by the ECMA standard as possible future extensions to the languages.

JavaScript also reserves key words from java for possible future extensions. Java keywords that are reserved but not yet used by JavaScript are:

abstract  final  in  private  synchronized

boolean  float  interface  protected  throws
 
byte    goto   long    public     transient

char   implements    native       short

double    instanceof    package    static
