HTML tags

Tags are instruction that are embedded directly into the text of the document. HTML all tags begin withe angle (<) and with a close angle bracket (>). Two types of tags used in HTML.

Paired tags :- The paired tag along with the companion tag. i.e. The <B> tag is a paired tag with its companion tag </B>. The text contained between them to be rendered in bold. In paired tag, the first tag <B> is often called oping and the second tag </B> is called the closing tag.

Singular tags :- The singular tag is stand alone tag. Singular tag don’t have the companion tag. i.e. <BR> tag will insert a line break. The <BR> tag does not require any companion tag.
